Abstract

A total of 21 phenylenedithiourea derivatives were synthesized by the condensation of phenylenediisothiocyanate with ester derivatives of p-aminobenzoic and p-aminosalicylic acid. The purity of these products were controlled by thin layer chromatography. their structures were determined by elemental analysis and IR spectrometry. Most of the products have strong antifungal activities.
